ESQUIRE PHILIPPINES.

I'm a big fan of magazines. I don't know exactly why. Maybe because I love to read or maybe because I've been wanting to write for others to read. I know Esquire is a huge magazine in the States, competing with GQ, FHM, Playboy, and other men's magazine. What made me want this is actually the covers! Very creative and unique. Thus, as soon as I've heard the news that Summit Media would be pulling out Esquire Philippines, I've decided to add it to my collection.

Vol. 1 No. 1 - October 2011 | Manny Pacquiao
I did not start collecting particularly because of this cover. I started collecting because it's Esquire we're talking here.

Vol. 1 No. 2 - November 2011 | Iza Calzado

Clearly not original (It was copied from A. Jolie's cover from Esquire US), but it was intentional. The main article is the one I remember the most - telling a story about Iza Calzado's one day un-claim to fame, which she missed so damn much.

Vol. 1 No. 3 - December 2011 | Manny Pangilinan
By the time I read the very first Esquire Philippines, I knew they're not going to pull popular personalities in the cover, however, I did not expect MVP to actually grace one. However, it happened, and I actually did enjoy his cover story.

Vol. 1 No. 4 - January/February 2012 | Philippine Presidents
My least favorite so far. I HATE PNOY!

Vol. 1 No. 5 - March 2012 | Ely Buendia
At first, I thought this would be the Music Issue, coz it's Ely. It turns out I'll be reading about leather, watches, etc. Ely's story was'nt about style at all though, at least to me. I learned more about E-heads (not that it's something very important) LOL.

Vol. 1 No. 6 - April 2012 | Bianca Gonzalez
My favorite so far, not because of Bianca [I love you Bianca] alone, but because of the Fun Things To Do List. I think this is the most talked about issue so far because of Bianca being topless and all, however, It's just the cover dude. Still, the inside pics are sexy and classy. You may already know as well that she wrote her own cover story. Beauty and Brains indeed. After this issue, I'm sure Esquire PH is under pressure LOL.

Vol. 1 No. 7 - May 2012 | Patti Grandidge
Varga Girls. I noticed several changes in this particular issue. The "Man at His Best" tag line was actually removed, and replaced by "The Magazine for Men". Are you competing with FHM PH? I hope not, my FHM collection is still my priority! HAHA lol. Anyway, I don't think it's that way coz their both from Summit Media. I'm not surprised they did not chose Sarah Labhati or Coleen Garcia for the cover (both for this and the digital version with Marianna as the cover) because as I've implicitly mentioned, it's not your "conventional" men's mag.

For The Sake Of Titling

As the title of this blog suggests...

[this basically is to save the drastically growing collection of mine in my PC's HD. What collection? Well, this may sound crazy to you [or not] but, they're PICTURES, yeah. Problem? lol. I don't expect anyone to be reading or even viewing this shit of mine, but in case some stranger like you actually does, well, Thanks then! and I hope you at the least  appreciate if not understand me.]

Well, the passage above was the original plan. Until I discovered how this can actually be a medium of sort of entertainment for me. No, not entertainment, rather a medium of self expression. Yes, that's actually better.
